How to display a flash object's image in Edit Mode

Hi,

I am creating some powerpoint presentations with Flash chart in it.
everything is fine. However, in the edit mode, the flash object is alwasy
displayed with a big cross sign box. If I run the slide show and mouse click
on the flash chart, then back to edit mode, the flash object will show the
chart Image instead of a Big Cross sign.

But if I close and reopen the presentation, every flash object is back to a
big cross sign again. is there anyway to make the flash object to display the
flash chart's image instead of a big cross sign after save and reopen?

or if this is not possible, is it possible to have a image cover on top of
the flash object. but during slide show, it will run the flash movie but not
show the image? I am dealing with a presentation with a lot of flash charts,
so this is very helpful.

Thanks.

Hi Steve,

do you mean insert a picture on top of the flash movie? but it seems the
picture is always behind the flash movie. I tried bring to front or back of
the flash object but this doesn't seem to work at all. Can you give more
detail?

Thanks.
