When I click the Search button in Explorer it comes up in "search the
Web" mode. How can I change the default to Files and Folders?

It sounds like you're using Internet Explorer to explore your files instead
of Windows Explorer. Use Windows Explorer.

No. I do know the difference between IE and Windows explorer. Try the
following. Open Windows Explorer. Click the Search button on the
toolbar. In the left hand pane you should see "Search for Files and
Folders". Now look near the bottom of the left pane and you will see
a section headed "Search for other times:" The last choice is
Internet. Click Internet.

No you are looking at what I see immidiately when I click the Search
button. What I want to see is "Search for Files and Folders". So, my
question is how do I change the default search mode from Internet to
Files and Folders.
