A "local" ISP would not have given you an IP address of 192.anything.
The IP address beginning 192 would suggest that you are behind some sort of
router.
How EXACTLY are you connecting to the internet?

Hi
Basic sharing is done by a device name Router.
However, it is Not clear what the nature of your connection is.
If you ISP is your landlord or any other private arrangement it has to be
checked out first if you can use a Router.
If you ISP is a general ISP that provides Cable Internet or DSL, then you
probably already have a Router (an address like 192.168.1,1 is a private
address that usually comes out of a Router).
In other words, you have to explain more precisely the nature of your
connection.
