connected but can't share internet

i got 2 pcs, host got 2 NIC, 1 for LAN and the other for dsl modem, the
problem is, i can share the files but not the internet connection, enable ICS
but still no internet connection for the other pc, any idea?

host ipconfig
=================
ethernet adapter connected to adsl modem
ip address 192.168.1.2
subnet 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.1

ethernet adapter 1 connected to LAN
ip address 192.168.1.4
subnet 255.255.255.0

ppp adapter
ip address 219.95.180.29
subnet 255.255.255.255
default gateway 219.95.180.29

the other pc ipconfig
==========
ip address 192.168.1.5
subnet 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.4

Hi,

are the below ip addresses static ?

I would expect to see one of the adapters with an ip address of 192.168.0.1
which would be created by the ICS configuration.

Can anybody confim this ?

Did you achieve all these settings by using the Network setup wizard?

It would be best to use this as XP will establish all IP addresses as
required.

Is it possible to 'ping' the other PC, Modem and your.isp.com.

If not, then for the second PC, you may also have to include the DNS address
of the ISP.

To see this: when connected to the internet,double click on the network
connection icon in the System Tray.
Click on the Support tab
Click on the Details button
The primary and secondary DNS servers will be listed.
