Hotmail Server - "This network is too busy"

A

Ann Marinas

Hi, All!

I've encountered an error while I was accessing my hotmail account on my
IE6.

Whenever I log in my hotmail account, it keeps on redirecting itself to this
address:
http://www.hotmail.com/toobusy.htm

and has this message:
"This server is too busy"

I would like to know what causes this error and how could I avoid it.

Thanks!

Ann

Hotmail uses configuration to prevent flooding of its mail servers and also has a limit on how many people can be logged at a time. So if you get this message it means that the limit has been reached and you will have to wait for a while before trying again. But refreshing this page will not do anything nor will it redirect back to the page when the traffic is restored to normal.

you will have to type the address www.hotmail.com and repeat the process. Or click the back button to go back to the login page and try again. do not just click the back button. open teh arrow mark that appears back to the back button and then select the login page.
