Hi, I'm sure this question will be a piece of cake for someone...

I have just linked a Dell Tower and a couple of laptops together, and I can
see all the computers on the network. However I want the laptops to be able
to access the C drive of the Dell.

When I explore it from the laptop I can only see the printers and SCheduled
Tasks.

Can someone point me in the right direction please

Thanks

Alex

If the Dell is running 2000, you'll need to share the folders (or the
entire C drive, if that's what you want). Right click on the drive and
select sharing.

Alternatively, if you are logged into the laptop with the same user name
and password as member of the administrators group of the Dell, you can
go to the run prompt and type \\computername\c$ (replace "computername"
with the actual name of your Dell).
