Highing indent

Does anybody know how to set the ruler so I can use the mouse to drag the
indents and place them in between the smallets hash marks on the ruler.
Currently they lock to the hash marks and things don't line up the way I want
them to (driving me nuts).

I don't want to use the ALT key, nor do I want to use the drop down menu for
more precision. I want to drag the indent marker to where I want it.

You're in a Windows XP newsgroup, but this looks like a question about some
application (Word?)

If you don't get an answer here, try asking in a Word (or whatever
application) newsgroup.
