Hidden Fax Window

After installing XP Pro and adding a fax, my computer
slowed to a crawl while executing any application. When I
tried to shut it down, I saw a dialog box closing with
the title, "HiddenFaxWindow" at the top of it. I searched
my computer for files and folders with that name as the
search criterior and found nothing. What is this and why
is it hidden?

Please help...I think there is a spy in my software.

"HiddenFaxWindow" is the name of the window used by fax to support system
tray notifications. Fax service posts status updates and other notifications
to this window. You can disable system tray notifications by going to
Printers and Faxes > Fax > Properties > Tracking tab > uncheck those that
are not required. But I believe this is not the reason for slower system
performance. You can look for the process that is consuming most number of
CPU cycles by looking at Task Manager to find the culprit.
