Hello all, i dont see a hibernation button when i click turn off computer
all i see is stand by resart and shut down. Is there anything i can do.
Thanks

Click Start, and then click Shut Down.
In the "What do you want the computer to do"
drop-down list, click Hibernate.

Note: Make sure Hibernation is enabled in the Power Options
applet located in your Control Panel.

Roy -
After you click "turn off the computer" you get another screen with the
three selections you mentioned above. On my XP Home I then hold down the
shift key and the Stand By selection changes to Hibernate -- which you
select while still holding the shift key down. See if this works

Yes i see when i hit and hold the shift key. But when i click turn off
computer it just shuts off

Roy, when you see "Hibernate" -- click on hibernate NOT the turn off
