Automatically Hibernation Problem

I have problem with my laptop computer Acer TravelMate 370 series. It won’t
goes to hibernate after I set any time period to hibernate in power
management properties. The computer is shut down and the sleep mode indicator
(Zz) is blinking. And when I turn it on again by pressing power button once,
it won't turn on. So I have to press and hold the power button about 4 sec.
Then windows goes to check disk mode like it is not shut down correctly.

But when I click on hibernate at shut down menu, it goes to hibernate.

Could you please help?

Thanks,

Just as an experiment, disable any network adapters you may have and
then try again.
