When I click on a Webpage link to a Midi file, my IE6 uses
QuickTime to play the Music. How do I configure IE6 to use
another Music Player, like say Windows Multimedia Player
V7?

It sounds like you need to check the file association for MID and MIDI in
Windows File Types (e.g. in XP look in Windows Explorer->Tools->Folder
Options->File Types). From here you can change the program that the file
opens with.
