Marshall Oseas

Just purchased new laptop, and am getting frustrated attempting to find my
old emails. I keep them for about a year, so I can reference something in
the future.

I have backed up my old computer, as well as copying all the files (easier
to find) onto an external HDD usint Acronis. I can re-install everythind I
had wanted, including all my programs, etc.

However; with Winmail I am only getting the "new" emails. I can go to my
"G" drive and log in from there, and my mail from yesterday . . . back to
forever are there. How can I get them transferred over to the new computer
?

Older laptop was Vista Home Premium 32 bit . . newer one is a blazer, with
64bit, 6GB RAM, etc. This has been my only problem so far . . .

Thanks for the input.

Marshall

Windows Mail has difficulty importing directly from external media.
First copy the mail files to an empty folder under your profile
(C:\Users\YourName\...), then in Windows Mail use File, Import, Messages.
