I have been an avid user of this wonderful TweakUI
auxiliary Microsoft Power Toy for WindowsXP.
Recently, I had to reformat and reload XP Pro, and
now I am having this unusual trouble as I load the TweakUI
program, which I downloaded about an year ago.
Here is the problem - after loading the TweakUI, all of
the screen icons convert from WindowsXP to
Windows 2000 format. I could not revert the icons back
to WindowsXP mode.
Question - is this a known problem for TweakUI,
if so how do I fix it ? Any help will be highly appreciated.
[I have been using version 2.00.1.0 of Tweak UI..
After loading TweakUI, all I do is, open it, then go to index,
Explorer, Shortcut Overlay, and select 'none' instead of
the 'Arrow' for shortcut view mode.
I have just downloaded the newer version of TweakUI from :-
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
My older version seems like about 564kb size, but this
newer version shows 147kb size, but both are named as
TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe ]
