The CSGina.dll is NOT a WindowsXP not a System32 file. You must delet
or
change it in the Registry for your system to boot properly. The belo
URL
(website) may of some help by deletting this 3rd party requirement.
How to Change to Registry?
StartRuntype REGEDIT and press OK - or
type REGEDIT at the DOS prompt and press Enter

Hello,

Can anyone help me please! I have mistakenly changed the file
CSGina.dll and now cannot boot up. I have tried getting in to Saf
Mode
but unable to. I get a error message "The Logon User Interface DLL
CSGina.dll has failed to load" How can I get back in and change the
file name?Is it possible to get into Dos mode directly without fully
booting up? If so, how should I go about changing the CSGina.dll file
name?

Hope there is an answer to this problem.

Thanks in advance anyways.

Hi again,

Thanks for the above info, but the problem is when I boot up I can no
get even as far as the desktop screen. Infact, I am shut out completel
and just get a message "The Logon User Interface DLL CSGina.dll ha
failed to load - restart" I have no GUI at all! (apart from the erro
message). Is it possible to acess Dos during bootup so I can type i
the CSGina.dll file name correctly? I can not even start in safe mod
by pessing the F5 key

Try from Safe Mode Command Prompt. If that does not help, load Recovery Console and type these commands:

CD SYSTEM32
COPY CSGina.dll OldCSGina.dll
COPY MSGina.dll CSGina.dll
(overwrite if prompted)

Exit Recovery Console, and see if you're able to logon to your profile.
