HELP ME CLASS NOT REGISTERED WHILE CAPTURING VIDEO

I am using a Sony HandyCam connected to my Dell Dimension E510 via USB 2.0.
When i try to capture video it gets up to the point where you click next to
capture the video. I have done a million times before but it stopped workin.
What should i do?

The problem is it says CLASS NOT REGISTERED and when i click it again it says
the device is in use by another Program

Did you uninstall something video related recently?

Anyway try executing this batch file:
http://www.rehanfx.org/utils/reregdlls.bat

It just re-registers a few important DLLs which get un-registered due to
somereasons. Try capturing afterwards.

I think i might have but i am not sure. Something with codecs and a video
converter and weird stuff
