Capturing video halts...

While capturing video from Sony Digital HandyCam the video halts without
warning. The video that is captured up to that point is fine. The HandyCam
is still playing the video but the capturing is halted. It's happened at 3
different points in the video. Any solutions?

I'm having a similar problem with my Sony DCR-TRV33. The
entire computer just hangs (Not a blue-screen) during DV
video capture. Any assistance would be appreciated.
