pixilated and distorted preview video

I made 2 movies transferring video from my sony handycam using wmm. They came
out fine and the quality was good. Since then the preview of all the video is
distorted. I cleaned the camera, and have tried all the different playback
settings and capture settings, but the movie is distorted and pixillated. I
did not change any other settings. Could someone help me?

The video viewed on the cam is fine?
Only video you have captured is poor?
How about video you had captured previously, is this fine?

How are you connecting the cam to the pc?
What make/model is the cam?
Have you checked for updates to your graphics driver from it's manufacturer?

did u ever get it fixed? im having the same problem and i dnont have any idea
