Help - IE will not open any web pages, but Firefox works just dand

(For those few nasty sites that require IE)...when I open IE (6.0 SP2) I get
"Cannot find server or DNS Error" meanwhile Firefox is going to all sites and
working just fine. I have a cable broadband connection through Charter. What
is wrong with IE?

Sounds like you need a repair of IE. There's many ways to do this, but the
safest (in my experience) is to reinstall SP2 (actually, I uninstall SP2,
then reinstall it, then do the 40 or 50 updates - but I'm retired and can
afford the extra time!).
