Website not working in IE but works in Firefox

Hello,

Our website here is timing out and running very slowly for a client.
Her entire office is affected by this problem, which looked like a
communication problem between them and our web server. After receiving
quick ping responses and a normal tracert I started looking for other
problems.

I installed firefox on her computer remotely and it works without
hassle, every time the page loads fine and a lot quicker. I looked
around in the firewall setting and internet options and nothing was
out of the ordinary. She said the only thing that has changed was
Windows Messenger being installed a few days ago.

I upgraded internet explorer to version 7 but that didnt seem to fix
the problem.

The weird thing is it works fine in firefox on her comp but _every_
computer in her office not able to access the site using IE. I thought
it was just a software issue with her computer but it must be more
than that.

I told her to just use firefox and install it on other but she uses a
program to interface with our website and it uses IE within it.

You should ask this in an IE ng where I believe you will get a more appropriate and
precise resolution since it appears to be an IE security issue.
