disk( i thought i did it all?)

Try plugging your USB devices into the USB ports in the back of the machine
rather than the front, the back ports are attached to the motherboard rather
than wired in by the person assembling the computer. Since it's possible the
front ports are wired wrong, make sure nothing is connected to them when you
do this test. If it works properly from the back ports, you might have
accidentally disconnected a wire (the power wire?) leading to the front USB
ports built into the case when you installed your own stuff.

If it still doesn't work, and you haven't installed SP2, try installing the
USB driver patch at:

tried that web page and it couldnt do it how do i get to it or wot do i have
to type?

Go into the bios (press Delete key on initial boot up) and make certain USB
is 'switched on'

Then look in 'Device manage' and check that the drivers are 'ready to use'
