help my usb wont work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

since i brought my new pc i had to install xp and the motherboard disk,
for abt 2 months now my usb wont work? i have tried the front and back
nothing,
i have tried different usb cables nothing,
there is no yellow! in device manager, it says there is no drivers installed
for via enchached usb host, tried updating drivers nothing,
bios says the usb is enabled.
didnt wot else to try.
if any help plz tell me step by step.

Read the owners manual !! To start usb,first you need SP1 for xp,it contains
the drivers,then open system properties,device mgr,other devices,R.click
 
Also, not all motherboard chipsets support USB 2.0 for
XP SiS 7001 doesn't.
