HELP EMERGENCY

Last week my system crashed. I had a friend come to my house and fix it. She
refromated my computer and all of my applications were lost. I have put xp
professional on it but it does not have excel word or most important access.
I have tried to download from limewire.com but the source file is corrupted.
Can anyone help me find a download please........Thanks

There are no free, LEGAL downloads of Office except the trial versions on
Microsoft's website.

Don't you have your original install disks? If not, but if you have
proof of purchase, you may be able to convince Microsoft to send you a
replacement disk; I don't know. I also don't know anything about
limewire.com, except that it appears to be a peer-to-peer file-sharing
network, but I strongly doubt that there is any legal download of
Microsoft Office software from such a site. I believe you can download
*trial* versions of most of the Office programs, but not (AFAIK) of
Access.

Just to make sure you know. Windows XP Professional does not include
Word, Excel or Access. Office Professional XP has these and other products.
If you old machine had legal versions of these applications you should have
received a disk with the files on them. Some computer sellers don't include
these disks. You could try contacting the hardware provider if you paid for
these applications when you bought your computer.
