Help..computer typing on its own

Hello..Im Running Windows Xp Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack
2...my computer has been acting strange..it types xxxxxxxxxxx on its
own..when I try to fill in an address bar etc..it does it over and over
and also makes a pinging sound(prompt ping)..it will do it over and over
then just stop for a while then come back..Ive ran virus scans/spyware
scans and cant seem to find anything on line pertaining to this
problem..I came upon your forum and and Im crossing fingers that
someone out there has an answer..I just did the sfc/scannow scan..any
other suggestions? Thank you and any info greatly appreciated..PamG

That's what happens when you go to too many XXX sites... the computer
assumes that all you want are x's...

Really, it just sounds like a stuck/old/broken keyboard.

It might just be a sticky keyboard...try another one
