Please check Event Viewer for Warning / Error Reports in the System
and Application logs for the last boot and post copies.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools, and
Event Viewer. When researching the meaning of the error, information
regarding Event ID, Source and Description are important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308427&sd=tech

Part of the Description of the error will include a link, which you should
double click for further information. You can copy using copy and paste.
Often the link will, however, say there is no further information.
http://go.microsoft.com/fw.link/events.asp
(Please note the hyperlink above is for illustration purposes only)

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double click
on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button
resembling two pages. Double click the button and close Event Viewer. Now
start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of the message. This
will paste the info from the Event Viewer Error Report complete with links
into the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from Event
Viewer.

Hope this helps.

Normally, asking you to hit "DEL" to continue is a sign of something amiss
in the BIOS, the three most common are:
1) There are unviewed events in the CMOS/BIOS event log - you'll need to go
into your CMOS/BIOS and check to see if it has an event log. A simple event
is a key being held down or stuck during boot, like a magazine or the mouse
sitting on the keyboard. You'll need to view it, and delete if there are
not lots of them otherwise you'll need to investigate. Consult the owner's
manual on how to enter the CMOS/BIOS.

2) A stuck key on the keyboard during the CMOS/BIOS load, check all the
keys on the keyboard to make sure one is not stuck.
3) The CMOS/BIOS settings are getting lost, normally caused by the battery
needed to be replaced on the motherboard. What is happening is the system
is revaluating the hardware found each time the CMOS/BIOS loads, where
normally it should be there already. This is easily detected by always
having to reset the clock when you go into Windows.

Well I tried the bios event log it was full and I deleted the entries of
keyboard not functioning still happening I guess Ill have to try the battery
thing but I dont have to rreset clock ever.
Could this sun java problem that Im having have anything to do with it
which is "The bridge was installed at c:\ program~1\java\jr15~2.0_0 but the
class is not there. Hkey_local_machine/software/javasoft/javaplug-in or
change the classpath to include new directory"
