Quit this #$^&@* "autorun" Crap.....

There has to be a way to turn this annoyance off. But I cant seem to
find out how.

Everytime I plug in a a USB flash drive, external harddrive, etc. I get
this annoying "autorun" popup. It begins scanning the device and says
"What do you want Windows to do?". Everytime, I select "DO NOTHING",
and there is a checkbox to "DO THIS EVERYTIME". (Which I check).

The next USB device I plug in, starts this same annoyance again.

What I really want Windows to do, is to QUIT loading this autorun
annoyance. I dont want it to appear at all. When I plug in a USB
device in Win98 or 2K, I dont get this. I dont want it in XP. I dont
want anything to appear on my screen when I plug in a USB device. I
just go to MY COMPUTER, and the USB device should show as a removable
drive. That's ALL I want it to do.

How can I permanently kill this "autorun" shit?
Dont want it, dont need it, dont want to see it again!
This is exactly the kind of shit that irritates me about XP.

No this can be turned off. I use a paid program called Zentimo, but
TweakUI (free) can do it too. There are many other ways too, even a
registry hack.
