There may be a headphone jack at the front of the CD player, if that's
what you want to hear.

For mic/headphone sets, one wire (red) goes into the mic input on the
soundcard. The other goes into the speaker output. That output can be
split between the headphone and speaker with a simple adapter - available
from Radio Shack and the like.

Turn down the volume before plugging and unplugging.

Exactly where depends on your particular computer. There should
be a headphone jack on the rear of the computer, either on your
audio card, if if you have on-board audio, just on the rear
panel.

Consult your system manual for more information.

It depends on what sound-card you have. If you have a SoundBlaster live, it
is the green one. If you have some other card, try each one, it will not
harm anything, you just won't get sound from the wrong one. You may need to
switch your sound card settings to headphones, it all depends on your card.

If you have no luck, re-post and let us know which sound card you have.

You again. I thought I told you (as did Microsoft) that you weren't welcome
on these groups any more. I have once again reported you to your ISP.
