HD light on case with SATA HDs

I have installed a new SATA-150 Hard Drive on my Asus MB and my Case HD
light doesn't work with the new HDs. Any ideas on SATA HDs.?
 
Info only: I have an ABIT IC7-MAX3 with drives connected to two SATA
connections and the light works just fine. Maybe the light itself is bad.
 
The light works just fine on the reg ata drives
