The HD case light won't work with sata-150 HDs

Yes they do.....check your motherboard wiring as you probably
removed a connection.

Yes they do.....check your motherboard wiring as you probably
removed a connection.

There are some motherboards where the designers apparently forgot about
the HD light for the SATA drives.
