Hard drive case light

I have installed a new SATA-150 Hard Drive on my Asus MB and my Case HD
light doesn't work with the new HDs. Any ideas on SATA HDs.?

Did you use a sata add on card or did the motherboard come with sata plugs.
If it was a card you would have to plug in the hard drive LED to the card.

Those lights are polarity sensitive too.

check the ASUS site and the forum there. That's a fairly common "problem"
with early rev boards using the 875/865 chipset.

and like the earlier guy said, make sure the connector is plugged into the
motherboard w/ the correct polarity.
