Hi,
I have windows 2000 pro with three seperate hard drives. Two of them have
NTFS. But I am having with the third hard drive. This hard drive is 40 GB.
When the PC boots this hard drive is detected and status is shown as OK. But
when I go to Disk Management I see this hard drive as Disk 1 Dynamic and
Unreadable. There is also a red circle with white cross on the hard drive
icon. I right clicked on this disk and selected "Revert to Basic Disk". Then
I get a dialog box saying that data will be lost if I rever to Basic, do you
wish to continue? I select Yes but then nothing happens and it is still a
Dynamic disk.
Can someone give me an idea as what is going on here and what should I do?
I tried Symantec PartitionInfo 8.0 but can't do anything as everything
appears grayed out when I select this disk.
Thanks for your time.
Joe
