having difficulty connecting access 2003 to sql server 2008

Please can you help me connect to sql. I am new to access. Cannot figure how
to use connection box and locate correct file name to type in box or what to
write in the rest of the boxes.

Hi Mark,

File | Get External Data | Link Tables

In the Link dialog box, change Files of Type to ODBC Databases
(usually found at the very bottom of the list).

Go through the Select Data Source dialog boxes. I suggest a Machine
data source (New, System Data Source).

Choose the SQL Server driver. Now you'll need to select your server
name and your other connection settings.

Hopefully that gets you started.
