Hello,
has ie7 removed the ability to view MHT as thumbnails in windows explorer?

Because I can no longer view mht as thumbnails, nor html, nor URL
shortcuts...

I used to be able to do it, and I tried the various remedies that used to
work for ie6 with no luck

I have XPSP2 with everything updated, and of course ie7

I see them. To test this I exported my favorites to the desktop, and opened
the 'bookmark.htm' file in IE. I did a save as to an MHT file, then I opened
the desktop folder in My Computer, and set the View to Thumbnails. I clearly
see the links in the bookmark page in the thumbnail.

Copy the above contents to Notepad, and save as mht_thumb.reg. Right-click on the REG file and choose Merge.
