I have always been partial to Western Digital, and more so lately. I dunno why, I have never had a problem with them.. so I'll stick with them.

welli got myself a 320gb western digital 2 days ago for my xbox!

it comes up as being 305GB

a loss of 15gb!

but i hope the drive does me good
fingers crossed eh!

PSD - The bigger the HDD, the bigger the loss of space.

You'll never get the full capacity as there are various things that happen when formatting etc etc...

My 80's come up at i think 74Gb each

For a good system drive go for a 10k rpm, this thing is fast, very fast! My friend the IT manager (Had the IC7 Max Mobo i mentioned in another post) absolutely swears by them, he has installed them on all the PC’s in his office too.

I’m defiantly getting one soon. My 2 IDE's are slowing my machine down, fine for storage though; they are Maxtor 40gb and IBM 120gb.
