Guide Scanner and camera

When I move using the "guide Microsoft scanner and camera" my photos from the
camera to a folder on my computer, the order of the photos isn't always
correct. For example photo 1 can be the photo from the middle of the session.
I would like the order is determinated from the time the photos has been
taken/the order the photos appearing in the camera. Does anyone have a good
advice for the right order of the photos related to the right order from the
camera?

You must name them such that the lexical order of the names places the
images where you wish. If you could get whichever program you are using to
sort using the date,
then that would be a quick solution. However, most programs only sort using
the filename.

Try re-formatting your camera memory card?

My digital cameras are numbered by the sequence in which they are taken,
unless you have not cleared the memory and have "selectively" selected
photos. They the camera hunts around for an open memory area. Thus, out of
sequence photos.

Cordially yours,
