Photos not downloaded from digital camera

I have taken some photographs with my digital camera. But trying to download
the photos to my computer, the antivirus installed in my computer detected
some virus and deleted some files from the camera folder. Now I cannot
download the photos, but the photos are still displaying in the camera.
Someone please help.

I have tried in as many as two other computers, in one of which there is no
antivirus even installed. But in none of the computer the photos can be
downloaded. The name of the antivirus in my PC is "Quick Heal"

Hello,
Wenn you connect the camera to your PC, can you see the camera in "My
Computer"? So you can look at the photos via Windows Explorer, and save them
on your PC.

Personally speaking...If my virus program was deleting
my files I would have to find a new virus program

Anyway...

Maybe the following free software can recover the photos
from the memory card:

Recuva - File Recovery
http://www.recuva.com/

Recover lost files with Recuva
