Just had 2 quick questions -- Is it possible to test a guestbook offline
(without publishing it) to see if it works?

I have a site that I'm working on w/ FP2002 and have WinXP at home.
It's not published yet, but I'd like to see if it works.

Secondly:

I tried publishing it online via Tripod (which has FP server extensions
enabled) and it didn't work. Gave me a file not found error. Doesn't
it make this file (the guestbook) when it's first accessed?

Thanks!

Yes, if you are running Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Pro with IIS and the FP extensions installed.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

No - the FP guest book must be published to a server with FP server
extensions.....
