FP2003/WinXP Pro/Server Extensions: Question

T

Trish

I did a 'publish all pages' from my source PC web to
my online web that my Server Admin said had been
cleared of all content. The publish ran to completion.
I shut down FP on my PC and logged onto the internet
from IE6. My home page is still incorrect. I have
navigation links in my left hand shared border. They
are showing pages that are not linked under the
home page. The first incorrect link is for the item
showing PCMinutes_ etc. On my PC web this item is
under the Parish Staff not under the Home Page.
The Parish Staff link is showing in my left hand
shared borders as an item saying Parish Staff. I went
back and checked my publish log.
The first item logged is a created folder for 'Guestbook'.
I don't use the Guestbook, but I guess this is ok. The
last item logged is 'merged navigation structure'. I didn't
tell frontpage to merge the navigation structure. What
is frontpage merging if the online server content has
been deleted? How do I stop Frontpage from merging
navigation structure? I'm trying to get my online web
to reflect my PC web without much luck.
I've checked and rechecked my PC web. The navigation
structure is correct, the shared borders navigation links
are correct, there are no errors showing in any of the
views reports.
Please help if you can.
My online web is www.regischurch.com . Any help would
be appreciated.

Close The browser, Right click the IE "E" icon on the desktop, select properties. Then delete the
temporary internet, history and cookie files.

Reopen the web site and see if it's different. It looks fine on my machine.

Thank you Steve:
I think my Server admin. got to my online web before you
did. He deleted everything and I did a publish all. Everything
looks fine. I had 3 prior posts attempting to figure out how I
caused the problem and how to resolve it. I received excellent
feedback. I finally got in touch with the owner/guru for my
Server. When he reset everything on the Server, my publish
all from my PC ran successfully. I do the deletion of temporary
internet, history, and cookie files at the end of each IE use. I
got caught on this once before <bg>. I do appreciate all the
help the folks gave me in this newsgroup. I love FP2003!
