Guestbook include page problem

We have a FP guestbook that includes the guestbooklog file just below the form. This was working fine quite some time, but the included page size my be causing an error. The guestbook log has a LOT of entries and at present the guestbook form appears to be including itself so that the guestbook entry form is shown twice. If we do delete a few entries from the guesbook log file things appear OK for a while, but then it's back to a double form again and our long list on entries.
Has anyone heard of a log file size issue? Re calculating HL didn't help. Code looks fine on both pages. Any ideas?

This does sound like a remarkably bug-like feature.

Perhaps as a workaround you can copy the existing Guestbook log and then
include two page segments: the old (unchanging) one and then just above the
new (contunually updated) one.
