Grey Box Pop-Ups!!!!!!!!!

How do I get rid of the 'Grey Box Pop-ups' form the so-called 'Message
Service etc. without being forced to buy some program.
Soooooooooooooooooo Annoying!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

To disable the Messenger Service:

Go to Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services. Double click the
Messenger Service and change Automatic to Disabled, then click the Stop
button.

Did you try a firewall? Your Netbios ports are still open if you didn't,
only now you can't see when they're being attacked!
