Graphics Card sleep/standby

Hi,

is there any way to set the graphics card (and noisy associated fan!)
to sleep under XP while still leaving the cpu and disk drives
functioning? Any advice would be much appreciated!

If the noisy fan is the main problem,then maybe it should get serviced or
replaced.....

Thanks for the reply. The card is new; before I had a very old card
wdithout any fan, so the difference is quite noticeable.
