graphics card needed

im out of touch with all the latest stuff

im looking for a decent graphics card
fanless would be ideal
price range £40 at the max
nvidia preferred
agp 8x slot avaible

possibly 64mb or 128 would be alrite
as long as it meets my budget

please could you give me some links

XFX are fine - they are a good established GPU maker


At your £40 limit you ain't gonna get much more than a GeForce 6200 256MB, something like THIS.

on that machine im not going to be playing many games

its mainly for vidoes, tv and media in general

just another quick update

i went to the local shop
because i dont want to wait

i got an Asus Radeon A9250
for a score

probably a bit expensive
but i didnt want to spend too much

its got no fan
the pc boot up
its working fine so far

next thing to buy is a tft 19incher!
