Grabbing a window, HEadseat mic. Help

Hi all.

I have tried the micrsoft site but no dice with this one. Please help

I have a Cyber acoustics USB headset. I tried to get it to work with XP two
ways one with the recorder XP comes with to test it out and the second way
to try to configure the voice recognition program. I didn't really want to
use that just test the mic to make sure it works. No dice with either

THe second problem and weirdest of all is that in trying to configure my
sound I can't seem to grab my volume control bar whis is of to the side
stuck. I tried right clicking and using the "move" but it still wont budge.

I am running Windows XP SP2.

CAn anyone help me?

I am in a pinch with this because I really need the Headset mic to work. I
never really had much success with mics.

To move the (Full Slider View) volume mixer. Place mouse pointer on
the title bar where it says "Volume Control" Press & hold the Right
Mouse button and move to the left, until most if not all sliders are seen
Release Right Mouse button to reposition.
Once visible, you have to toggle the view in "Options" /Properties from
Playback to Recording. Locate the USB mic in the mixer, click the
Select option box and raise the slider to 50+%.
Also most headsets have an in-line Mute button that can sometimes
get accidentally toggled.
