This is a serious low-level file-system or disk error that might just be
random, or might indicate that your hard disk is close to failure. The
following procedure might enable recovery and allow you to continue using
the disk:

Assuming that the installation is on drive C:
1. In "My Computer", right click on the icon for drive C:, select
"Properties".
2. Click tab "Tools".
3. Click button "Check Now".
3. Check both "Automatically fix file system errors" and "Scan for and
attempt recovery of bad sectors".
4. Click "Start".

Follow the instructions to allow system shut-down and restart. The disk
checks will run after restart and before Windows loads. This scan for bad
sectors might take many hours or best part of a day if you have a large hard
disk: be patient.

This procedure might result in file or directory recovery to hidden
directories named FOUND.000 and FOUND.001 etc in the root of the C: drive:
if files are missing, be sure to check those places.

After the low-level problems have been fixed on the disk itself, you might
need to re-install Microsoft Anti-Spyware.

No, do not do this until after the low-level disk problem has been fixed.
