giant antispyware data service:gcasDTServ.exe-Corrupt file

When loading the program a yellow exclamation mark
appears in my taskbar on the right hand side with this
error and the top and the following underneath:

The file or directory C:\PROGRAM~1\Microsoft
AntiSpyware\gcUserData.gcd is corrupt and unreadable.
Please run Chkdsk utility

Any ideas?

Also when ever i exit the program i.e. close it and try
to re run it makes me go through the setup wizard again!

And what was the result of running chkdsk?

Offhand, I'd suggest an update reinstall:

Control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft
Antispyware, change, update.

Unfortunately even after reinstalling the same error
persists and chkdisk cannot complete and crashes before
starting stage 2 of 3. This chkdisk occurs everytime i
restart the computer aswell

I agree with D@annyBoy's advice--restart in safe mode, command prompt and
run the chckdsk with the /F parameter.

You've got some issue with the disk that needs to get fixed--this is
important--it won't get better on its own.
