getting help with word xp

Is this the correct forum to get help with Word XP?

My question:

When using Word, "sometimes" an image will freeze on the
screen. This could be a floating toolbar or another
window etc... Word still functions and can be typed in
but image will not disappear until a reboot.

Sorry if this is off topic. Please direct me to correct
forum if so.
