Get It While You Can

Some authors often release programs first as freeware and then later as
shareware. It may be difficult or impossible to find the Freeware
versions once a shareware version has been released.

IOW - these author's freeware programs should be downloaded ASAP before
they disappear. ISTM that a list of such authors/author's websites might
be useful as a reference.

Here are a couple:

Like 'Pardon' in another thread?

BTW, the pricelesswarehome link to Pardon appears to be to the
shareware app.

Are you looking to start an 'abandonware' thread? :)

My first contributions would be Activesaver and Diskdata...

You looked too soon - I *just* uploaded revised pages -> $ware noted -
link omitted. :)

Nope - a list of authors/sites that release freeware versions as an
advertising technique. . . and yank them back when the app goes
shareware. . . number 3 on this list:

1. Freeware Forever :) :) :)
2. Freeware to -> Liteware/$ware
3. Freeware to -> $ware only

but since you brought it up. . .

I'll post a LFW (last freeware version) list. stay tuned. . .
