Generic Volumes Code 10

Vista Home Premium 64bit - Control Panel - Device Manager - Storage
Volumes - Generic Volumes, has the little yellow "caution" triangle.
Under Properties it says -

Device Type: Storage Volume
Manufacturer: Microsoft
Location: on Volume Manager

Device Status
This Device cannot start - (Code 10)

Click 'Check for Solutions' to send data about this device
to Microsoft to see if there is a solution available.

The "Check for Solutions" does nothing. I have Googled and found it can
refer to just about anything.
As far as I can tell, everything is working and I am lost as to the cause of
the little yellow triangle.
If I uninstall the device and, reboot - it's back.

Any suggestions appreciated -

All fixed -

put the cable into another USB port - all is well
put it back in the original port - all is well
must have been a screwy connection - printer fine - card reader not.
I never associated the "storage device" with the card reader.
Learning is a wonderful thing - Thanks Peter.

Thanks Peter,

There seems to be an issue with the card reader in the HP printer.
At least I now know where the problem is, next step - fix it.

Thanks again,
