Hi All,

I know this is the wrong group, but there are so many sharp helpful
experts here that I can't resist, sorry. Please direct me to the
proper resources.

About 3 days ago I lost the use of several hardware items. I have
Vista Ult 32.

Using "System Information" "System Summary" "Components" "Problem
Devices", I get the following:

The printer (2nd on list) still works, the disk drive and the reader
slots are dead. The 5 dead are all close together on the front panel
of the puter.

These six also show a ! inside a yellow triangle in the "Device
Manager".

I restored back 5 days (my limit?), but didn't help.

Thanks for any help,

Rob

WooHoo! CD/DVD drive back in operation. Mr. Foldes, you hit the
bullseye after a mighty fast draw, lol.

Thank you so much!
