Generic / Text Only print driver problem

Hello folks,

I am trying to connfigure the Windows Generic / Text only printer driver to
print a document. When I print the document, any blank lines within the text
are removed. So the following text:

"This is a test

This is a test"

will come out :
"This is a test
This is a test"

Any idea as to why this might be? I am using the RAW print driver. Thank you
much!

I've got the same problem also. It seems that Windows 2000 drivers are
quite sloppy (other problem met : can't print wider than 8.5 inches on a
wide carriage dot-matrix printer!)

The only workaround I've found is to put a space on each empty line...

It's well documented that there are lots of problems using the GTO driver in
Windows 2000. I had a nightmare trying to stop it form-feeding at the end of
a plain text file, on a dot matrix printer!
