generic bluetooth

hello,
i have lenevo r60 model with win xp sp3 installed; i was trying to copy
music from my cell to laptop via bluetooth but not able to :(

i installed upated bluetooth driver from ibm but still no luck; then i read
on net that there is a generic bluetooth radio that could help out

im total lost and need some step by step directions to have it worked

please help

You should not use a generic driver for an OEM laptop. You should only use
drivers from Lenovo. You didn't mention what kind of phone you have, but
not all phones can connect to a computer's bluetooth. Check on the phone
mftr.'s website for tech support and/or look on user forums for the phone.

Microsoft's "generic" SP2 (or greater) Bluetooth drivers are limited
and main not let you do this. Also, Windows XP does not normally let
you access a cell phone directly (if not a Windows Mobile phone) and
you may need to use the cell phone management software.
